Kenneth Branagh's Othello

Branagh's Othello was not very well received by the general populace. It was a post-Henry V/pre-Hamlet movie that just never got off the ground. Branagh took on the role of Iago, trying his hand at villainy for a change. While never popular, Branagh's portrayal of Iago did get him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Laurence Fishburne (of Matrix fame) played Othello.
